Looks and works great. The kick, even with the metal parts, is stil awesome. One of the best GBB ever made in my opinion, replica of one of the most coolest weapon of the world.

Hi poeple, the point of this video is ONLY about the INTERFACE of the gun and how it works, not the details. But here's an important thing: The gun is made by PLASTIC, not METAL :)

First part of my tokyo marui desert eagle .50ae review. Covers most of the features of the gun. Hope you all like it.

Dual Wielding two Tokyo Marui Chrome Desert Eagles.

These guns have a lot of kick for pistols, and were much louder in person. Shooting these made the birds silent.

I bought the second one recently because I needed extra mags and this gun only cost about 100 used, which is the price of two Tokyo Marui Chrome Desert Eagle magazines.

Loading and Firing my TM Desert Eagle with TM HFC134a gas. I've tried it on green gas, but its really bad for this type of gun. Green gas really packs a punch however the HFC gas has a very powerful kick too.

All metal apart from the slide, but it doesn't matter, cause it feels all metal, and it weighs a lot too! Great gun!

The TM Desert Eagle is undoubtably the coolest airsoft gun. Being a Tokyo Marui gun, the externals are all plastic. However, the internals are all metal and this gun preforms flawlessly. It kicks hard to simulate the recoil produced by real guns.

This is for the Hardkick model of the Tokyo Marui Airsoft Desert Eagle replica, showing how to disassemble the majority of the internals of the slide, as well as put it all back together. To my knowledge there is no guide on the internet on how to do this, so I figured it could help someone out. I've taken multiple TM Eagles apart literally dozens of times, so I've got all of the parts well memorized.

Note: This particular one is completely stock (minus the dual tone bits, still all TM) but it has a few issues. The right side safety switch is chipped, the blowback unit spring had snapped and been re-bent, and the safety block has been broken as shown in the video.

I'd be glad to try to help, but this is relatively straightforward, so if you have trouble following the major steps of this video then it might not be a good idea to take apart your gun.

This is my review of the Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle hard kick airsoft gas pistol fitted with a Guarder metal kit. I borrowed this pistol from a friend to do the review.

Update since video was posted:
The hop rubber is the same as a Hicapa/1911/Glock etc so the Nineball purple ones will fit. Inner barrel is same fitting as other Marui pistols.
Power is around 310-315fps with Abbey Ultra gas, I fire this one on Green gas and it shoots at 345-350fps with a temp of around 18 degree's.
The Guarder kit from Elite Shooting was £20 as he had it on offer but it did not have the outer barrel section included hence the cheap price. Very easy to fit the kit too.
Rail on top of barrel is 21mm so standard RIS attachments will NOT fit!!

Potted history:
The Desert Eagle is a large-framed gas-operated semi-automatic pistol designed by Magnum Research in the US. Over the past 25 years MRI has been responsible for the design and development of the Desert Eagle pistol. The design was refined and the actual pistols were manufactured by Israel Military Industries until 1995, when MRI shifted the manufacturing contract to Saco Defense in Saco, Maine. In 1998, MRI moved manufacturing back to IMI, which later reorganized under the name Israel Weapon Industries. Both Saco and IMI/IWI were strictly contractors: all of the intellectual property, including patents, copyrights and trademarks are the property of Magnum Research. Since 2009, the Desert Eagle Pistol has been produced in the USA at MRI's Pillager, MN facility. The Desert Eagle has been featured in roughly 500 motion pictures and TV films, considerably increasing its popularity and boosting sales.
The Desert Eagle was originally designed by Bernard C. White of Magnum Research, who filed a US patent application for a mechanism for a gas-actuated pistol in January 1983. This established the basic layout of the Desert Eagle. A second patent application was filed in December 1985, after the basic design had been refined by IMI (Israel Military Industries) for production, and this is the form that went into production.
The Desert Eagle uses a gas-operated mechanism normally found in rifles, as opposed to the short recoil or blow-back designs most commonly seen in semi-automatic pistols. When a round is fired, gases are ported out through a small hole in the barrel near the breech. These travel forward through a small tube under the barrel, to a cylinder near the front of the barrel. The separate bolt carrier/slide has a small piston on the front that fits into this cylinder; when the gases reach the cylinder they push the piston rearward. The bolt carrier rides rearward on two rails on either side of the barrel, operating the mechanism. Its rotating bolt strongly resembles that of the M16 series of rifles, while the fixed gas cylinder/moving piston resemble those of the Ruger Mini-14 carbine (the original patent used a captive piston similar to the M14 rifle).
The advantage of the gas operation is that it allows the use of far more powerful cartridges than traditional semi-automatic pistol designs.

Airsoft pistol:
This 'hand cannon' is simply a beast! Its large, unweildly and awkward to use but, it is accurate when held rigidly in two hands as it has a hell of a kick! Its also good for long range use and can easily rival an AEG.
Function and ergonomics are good and all controls are easily accessable and true to the 'real steel' pistol. Strip down is easy and maintenance is not a problem. Hop adjustment is really easy and can be found forward of the chamber on the barrel, under a sliding hood, it has a large wheel to set it. Gas usage is ok as the pistols magazine holds a vast amount so you can fire off one and half fully loaded mags before refilling.
It does have a few bad points, it being a heavy pistol and cumbersome in use, with a hard cycling action. Accuracy can only be achieved over long distance by careful two handed aiming. The sights are medioca at best and in poor light are useless. If you have small hands this pistol isnt for you.

Conclusion:
This pistol is more for your well built player or target shooter. Its heavy weight and large frame lends itself to powerful gas use at a pinch and can give impressive long range accuracy but its size is a handicap for smaller players in woodland skirmish or CQB use, it being to heavy to haul around all day in a holster, if you can get one to fit! Yes its a brute, works well and looks 'cool' but I only recommended this if you have big hands or want to have an iconic design in your collection.

Hab ein bisschen mit meiner Desert Eagle rumgeballert. Der Rückstoss von der ist einfach geil man muss sie wirklich mit 2 Händen abfeuern da sie sonst unkontrollierbar wird. Der Sound ist ebenfalls geil und vorallem ist sie sehr sehr laut. Präzision ist ebenso der Wahnsinn damit treff ich noch nen Baumstamm in 60m Entferung! natürlich nur mit 0,40g bb's. Dieses Baby ist eine perfekte Backup Waffe und lässt keine Wünsche mehr offen!
