Shots with the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3 Gbb, customised with a shooter design "Infinity" slide (90 USD here : http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=6893 ).

To me, Tokyo Marui is the best brand when it comes to Gbb. And among Marui Gbb, the Hi-Capa 4.3 may be the best one. The gun has no default whatsoever. Great kick, great reliability, great accuracy, trigger feeling so nice you can shoot really fast, large magazine where you can put a lot of bb's and a lot of gas, good grip confortable even with small hands. Safety easy to access too.

One con ? Meh... The slide stop is a bit short. I can't reach it with my right thumb without changing my grip. But, well...

So, what I don't use it in games ? Well, I like the look of other pistols better. There is also the fact that I don't think there is safariland holsters for this thing (I heard it fits in a safariland 6004 for Glock 17, I hope I'll be able to check this one day).

I know I already made a video of this pistol, but I think it's worth a new video with my new camera. I also had request to see how it looks like without the flashlight.

Review of the Tokyo Marui GBB Pistol Review - James Edition

This is a performance test for a custom built Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa. The customer has complained of two valve knocker cover plates breaking (Tokyo Marui Part # H51-52). Prior to sending the pistol to the customer, I'd ran approximately 200 rounds through the pistol to confirm functionality.

The first plate broke shortly after he'd received the pistol, within a claimed half a mag of firing. I'd sent him a second plate, which he said he'd snapped in less than 10 shots of firing. Each time it broke, the sear slipped out of place, causing the gun to fire in uncontrollable full auto fire.

This time, I'd requested the customer to send the complete pistol back to me so that I could oversee the installation of the plate and to check and confirm durability and performance. I'd replaced both H51-52 and H51-46 with brand new parts I'd had in inventory. By the end of this test, I would have put through almost 600 rounds through this pistol, with zero problems as described by the client.

To date, I can not figure out how the customer could have possibly broken the part. I have never seen nor heard of such a break, nor can I imagine any mechanical reason for such a break to occur. I can only attribute this problem to user error of some sort, but even in that regard, I can not imagine how he could have broken the part under normal use.

Ive had a few questions about my Hi Capa pistol: its a Tokyo Marui Dual Stainless Hi Capa 4.3, which has had a custom paint job with a few additional upgrades:

Nineball Hop Rubber
Nineball DYNA Piston Head
Nineball Tactical Grip (tan)
Nineball Enhanced Magazine Lip (on the magazines)
Guarder 150% Enhanced Recoil Spring (and hammer spring, which I dont use)
NCS LED Illuminator
Other upgrades that im currently awaiting include a 5KU Super Lightweight Blowback Housing, enhanced magwell and cocking handle (the last 2 are mostly for aesthetics!).

It may not be to everyones taste, but it might give you some inspiration for your own custom upgrades!

Installed a Guarder Infinity slide. Slide needed modification to fit but performance is very good.

This is a tutorial on the total strip down of Tokyo Marui Hi-capa 5.1/4.3 GBB pistols and clones.
Take note of where and in what position all parts were removed so upon re-assembly they will be placed back in the right sequence. Place all small parts like springs and screws in a box or bag so nothing will be lost during the strip down.

Note:
Remember when you strip down any TM GBB pistol you invalidate the warranty in doing so.

this is a review of the tm 4.3 high capa stainless steel gas blowback pistol, and yes i do know the name in vid was different, but he just read it off of the box and i looked it up prior to uploading the video

This is just a short video on my Tokyo Marui 4.3 Hi-capa's that I currently have in my armoury.

My standard (cold weather) carry pistol for skirmishing is the rounded dust cover and trigger guard version you see here. It has no upgrades other than a King Arms 150% recoil spring, which was only fitted because the original spring became to weak to use and was causing failures to go back into battery. Custom parts fitted are:

FreedomArt sights (NOT Airsoft Surgeon as I mistakenly state in the video Doh!) Fibre optic fore sight and a 'Wilson Combat' type rear.
Nineball single 'Svenson' style thumb safety.
TM MEU 3-hole trigger.
TM 5.1 beavertail grip safety.
TM 5.1 MSH.
TM MEU 'Springfield' style hammer.

The Infinity style 4.3 was just done on a whim as I had a spare SVI style trigger and STI hammer (painted black) to hand and wanted to see what they would look like attached to a 4.3, plus I now had the spare frame (used on my old 4.3 during night games), which was now not required. So away I went and built it in a night!
She has the following parts:

TM 5.1 MSH.
TM 5.1 Grip safety.
Tanio Koba custom made single thumb safety.
TM chrome 4.3 outer barrel.
TM 'SVI' style trigger.
WE custom painted 'STI' style hammer.
Guarder chrome 4.3 guide rod.
FeedomArt fibre optic fore sight.

All other parts for both guns are standard Tokyo Marui.

Just one other thing I did fail to mention, though it is in another of my videos, these little pistols will fit Safariland Glock style holsters with little or no remedial work to be done to the holster or pistol and if fitted with a torch.

Well I hope you liked this, as I say it was just to give some air time really to these oft forgotten little gems, that do their duty reliably and without fuss, hence they get over looked ;-)

She shoots a dream, with none of the gas-efficiency issues that you get from the MEU/1911 single stack magazines. I don't have a chrono, however I believe the current fps to be over 310, based on how it performs compared to my other pistols and rifles.
